Season of Sisters by Emily March is a book with lessons to impart and take to heart. That old adage, "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger," remind us that each event, good or bad, is there to make us stronger, ready for even bigger events, good or bad. You can either hold your head up and charge forward or you can stand there and let the wind blow you over.We see this over and over throughout the book as each of the three women share their stories and triumphs and help each other live the day-to-day with laughter and tears and support.
Although fiction, this book could be a time in each of our lives and it touched my heart deeply. Women can be petty at times, but there is nothing stronger than a woman who loves ferociously. I recommend this book to every woman and girl out there. Even a few men might enjoy it.
I am giving Season of Sisters five stars because that is the most that can be given. It is definitely a book worth reading.

Emily March is one of my favorite authors and this book satisfied my expectations

A wonderfully touching book . Love that there is no age limit to friendship. These women get in some great fixes.
One of those books that you will read again and again. Be prepared for tears at the end but worth it
I love books by Emily March/ Geralyn Dawson, and this story is very touching (as usual). Three women's lives are changed, we learn about a great charity, and are made to think about how our lives can influence others, as they overlap.
I really enjoyed this book of 3 women, each with their own predicament and how each coped and
how they all in one way or another helped each other. I loved all the characters in this story.
A very good read for all ages.
The storyline sounded good and I thought I'd like this book - I wanted to like it. I don't necessarily expect realism in my reading material, as I read for pleasure and enjoyment, but the "problems" two of the three main characters had seemed frivolous. I couldn't believe three women would form such an immediate friendship over one shared experience, especially given the difference in their ages - and I couldn't believe two women would turn away from a relationship over such ridiculous reasons - and that there would be no one else in their lives they couldn't talk to who would tell them to find the mind they'd obviously lost.
On a positive note, there were many profound and deep thoughts, but they were often delivered in what seemed like a lecture or monologue and at times the speech seemed stilted. The book had a lot of promise, but it was difficult to care about women who were acting like Drama Queens with the trivial reason for their distress. The storyline didn't have enough substance for an entire novel. In the end, I had to force myself to finish the book, which ended exactly as I thought it would.
